The village museum was established in 1991 by Erich Kiedl and Georg Dirnberger. Still, new exhibits are added.

It started with the simple interesst in old things of the two persons named before. The collection grew larger and larger and led to space problems in their homes.

Finally, they got the idea of a museum and planned to use the former stable of the vicerage therefore. After local administration agreed, an museum arised, showing many of tools and devices, which have nearly been forgotten. They originate from farms and old crafts, but you can also find some old winter sport equitments there!

Additionally, an extensive collection of old photos, showing old buildings and farms as well as the former apperance of our village can be seen.
